Adrian Bower has been recognized this May as DAYL’s One to Watch.
The original publication is available online and has been reproduced here in its entirety:
Adrian Bower is a courageous lawyer and a dedicated leader. From starting his own law firm immediately after graduating law school to his service with the DAYL, Adrian’s dynamic personality and mission-focused attitude make him a force in the Dallas Legal Community.
Adrian graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2007 and from St. Mary’s Law School in 2011. While attending law school, he developed his passion for the law, bar service, and his desire to open his own firm. Despite being a newly licensed lawyer, Adrian took the bold step to hang out his shingle and open his own Dallas law practice. In his practice, Adrian focuses in civil litigation and transactional oil and gas matters. Over the past seven years, Adrian has represented numerous clients, resulting in millions of dollars recovered for his clients. For his outstanding work with his clients, Adrian has been named one of D Magazine’s Best Attorney’s Under 40.
Yet, Adrian makes the time in his busy practice to maintain a constant pro bono caseload. Adrian was named one of DVAP’s Finest in 2016 for his dedicated pro bono work. He was also named a DAYL Pro Bono Pillar in 2017. Serving clients exclusively through DVAP, Adrian exemplifies the Texas Lawyer’s Creed’s admonishment to “assure that all persons have access to competent representation regardless of wealth or position in life.”
Outside the courtroom, Adrian serves the DAYL and the Dallas Bar Association. As co-chair of the DAYL Solo & Small Firm Committee, Adrian was instrumental in planning and executing the committee’s Third Annual Summit. Through his leadership of the Assisting Lawyers in Transition Committee, Adrian developed programs and panels to guide lawyers through the difficult time of finding work or transitioning firms. Adrian also serves on the DVAP Advice Committee and the DBA Lawyer Referral Service Committee. A frequent speaker on business development and legal ethics, Adrian further hones his legal credentials as a member of the College of the State Bar of Texas.
Adrian is the man you want on your team when challenges arise. He is a servant and leader who devotes himself to the DAYL’s mission of Giving. Serving. Leading. For all these reasons and many more, Adrian is this month’s DAYL One-to-Watch.”
